63rd BHS Annual General Meeting - Saturday 27th March 2010

Bartlett Room, London Zoo, Regents Park, London.

This year’s Annual General Meeting has been arranged for Saturday 27th March 2010, and for the third year running, the venue is to be our recognised headquarters at the fabulous London Zoo in Regents Park.

We have two excellent speakers lined up; Dr. Trent Garner of Zoological Society of London will provide an update on the Chyrid fungus situation across Europe, and Mr. Mark Rowland BVSc CertZooMed MRCVS will offer guidance on identifying illness in your captive reptiles and amphibians.

Between the two speakers BHS Chairman Jon Coote will lead a discussion in the latest developments in captive husbandry equipment. Along with the BHS photo competition and several presentations, the programme looks to be a good one and not to be missed!

In addition, attending members will be permitted free access to the Zoo for an hour before the meeting, just enough time to visit the renowned Reptile House with its great displays.  And if all that isn’t enough - anyone wishing to stay on after the meeting will be treated to a behind-the-scenes guided tour around the Reptile House with head keeper Ian Stephen.

In recent years the AGM has been well attended with over 50 members present - we hope you will make it another worthwhile meeting and with so many attractions and the opportunity to meet with fellow members, please do come along and enjoy the day.

You can download the meeting agenda here or further information here.
