The BHS is one of the world's oldest and largest UK Herpetological Societies. Founded in 1947 by Britain's leading herpetologists, the Society still enjoys its national learned status and celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2007. The interests of its members are catered for by a range of specialist committees. Whatever your age, whether you are a conservationist, a scientist, a field naturalist, or if you are interested in reptile and amphibian husbandry, the Society has something to offer. So why not join today?
