We operate collaboratively with many entities and groups.
Companion Animal Sector Council (CASC)
The Companion Animal Sector Council (CASC) was established with the aim to improve the health and welfare of companion animals (except dogs, cats and equines which have their own Sector Council’s). The Council provides a collaborative forum through which stakeholders can identify and cooperate on issues of common interest and, drawing on the expertise of its membership, provide coordinated advice to Government in a coherent and effective way, providing a conduit to highlight issues of concern and present potential solutions.
German Society for Herpetology and Terrarium Science (DGHT)
The DGHT (German Society for Herpetology and Terrarium Science) is a non-profit association dedicated to nature and species conservation, the research of amphibians and reptiles (scientific herpetology), and their species-appropriate and expert husbandry and breeding (terrarium research).
National Centre for Reptile Welfare (NCRW)
The National Centre for Reptile Welfare is dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehoming of reptiles. Whether it’s snakes, turtles, or lizards, we are passionate about giving these fascinating creatures a second chance.
The European Board of Herpetological Societies (EBHS)
The European Board of Herpetological Societies (EBHS) is a collaborative framework created within the Societas Europaea Herpetologica (SEH) in 2019 to enhance communication, promote herpetological activities, and facilitate mutual promotion between SEH and its partner societies across Europe. Its goal is to strengthen the representation and activities of herpetologists at both national and European levels, supporting conservation policies, fundraising, and disseminating information about key events and societies.
The Federation of British Herpetologists (FBH)
The Federation of British Herpetologists was formed in 1996 to unite, represent and protect private reptile and amphibian keepers in the UK.
The Sustainable Users Network (SUN)
The Sustainable Users Network (SUN) is an informal group established at the request of the UK's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) to facilitate communication and collaboration between various organizations interested in sustainable practices and environmental issues. It acts as a single point of contact for DEFRA and other bodies like the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC).
