ABSTRACT: Bachia trisanale is known from western Amazonia in Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. Bachia pyburni is distributed in the north-western Amazon in Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. Here, we present the first confirmed records of B. trisanale for Colombia, based on three specimens from the Department of Amazonas and one from the Department of Cauca. Additionally, we report a new locality record for B. pyburni and provide comments on the geographic distribution of other species of the genus in Colombia.
